HR-XML is now HR Open Standards

HR-XML is re-emerging as HR Open Standards Consortium, Inc., the non-profit announced today. The name reflects the organization’s renewed mission to not only champion the development of data exchange standards for the human resources community, but also to simplify integration between HR technology service providers.

HR Open Standard Consortium 2014 Board of Directors 

HR Open Standards Consortium has announced its Board of Directors for 2014. The volunteer board guides the organization in its mission to enable proprietary software systems to work together, helping organizations speed development and decrease costs.

Newly appointed are Eric Fontaine, Insperity, and Tony Ray, IQNavigator. Re-elected members include: Andrew Cunsolo, Talemetry; Suneel Mendiratta, ADP; Romuald Restout, Lumesse; and Eric Shepherd, Questionmark. Continuing in two-year terms are: Andreas Elkeles, SAP Labs, LLC; Bon Idziak, Applicant Insight, Inc.; Bill Kerr, Oracle Corp.; Mike Seidle, DirectEmployers Association; and Ingolf Teetz, milch & zucker.

Consortium officers include Bon Idziak, President and Chairman of the Board, Andrew Cunsolo, Secretary, and Suneel Mendiratta, Treasurer.

Human Capital Management Companies Developing Standards for the Exchange of HR-XML Data Relating to Salary Surveys

New collaboration will provide value for HR benchmarking and market analysis around competitive total rewards

ADP, Oracle, Payscale, Towers Watson, and NASWA are developing a standard to electronically exchange Salary Survey data. Participants from these organizations are contributing their expertise to ensure the specification meets industry requirements. The process includes raw data sent from the employer or other participating entity to the survey vendor, and the published results.
