The assignment refresh implementation supports Web Services with SOAP 1.2 as the transport protocol.
Randstad's assignment refresh process uses HR-XML to exchange job related data between Randstad Front Office system and third party vendors providing time clock systems in real time enabling the staffing associates and contingent workforce talent to punch time into clocks eliminating the need for manual time entry.
When a staffing assignment is created or updated in the Randstad Front Office system, a message conforming to HR-XML 3.0 standards is generated and pushed via a web service call to the third party time clock system. Valid requests result in creating or updating assignment data in the time clock system. Invalid requests will have a type of errors and a collection of elements describing the errors. This in turn triggers a notification email to the staffing associates alerting them to correct the errors.
